Annual Nutrtion Lecture 2023

Dairy and Bone Health – from the Bronze Age to Balmoral

This year’s Annual Dairy Council Nutrition Lecture with NICHE at Ulster University took place on the 18 October and was given by Professor David J Armstrong. Professor Armstrong is a Consultant Rheumatologist (WHSCT), Clinical Lead for Fracture Liaison and Osteoporosis, and Visiting Professor at Ulster University’s Nutrition Innovation Centre for Food and Health (NICHE).

This was the 34th Lecture in the series. A summary and the slides from Professor's Armstrong's presentation 'Dairy and Bone Health – from the Bronze Age to Balmoral' are available to download.

The event was opened by Professor Carol Curran OBE, Executive Dean of Life and Health Sciences at Ulster University and chaired by Professor Sean Strain OBE, Emeritus Professor of Human Nutrition at Ulster University.
