The Dairy Council for Northern Ireland is hosting the EU Sustainable Dairy Symposium as part of a multi–country promotion programme highlighting the positive role of the dairy sector for climate action and the environment.
The event will be online, taking place via livestream at 2:00pm to 3:30pm, 24th November.
This year’s focus will be on the use of renewable energy and technology on farm and at processing level, as well as biodiversity on dairy farms.
The keynote speakers this year are Edwin Poots MLA, Minister for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, and Donald Moore, Executive Director, Global Dairy Platform. Other speakers include experts in processing and research.
