This year’s Annual Dairy Council Nutrition Lecture at the Ulster University was given by Professor Peter Morgan, Director of the Rowett Institute for Nutrition and Health at the University of Aberdeen.
Professor Morgan spoke to an audience of more than 120 academics, nutrition students and health professionals on ‘The changing frontiers of nutrition research’.
The audience heard how contemporary nutrition research is providing new understanding that is key to developing healthier food products as well as helping to change consumer behaviour. Professor Peter Morgan said that appreciation of the role of good nutrition to our health and well–being has never been stronger.
The lecture, on the 18th November, was the 26th in the series and represents the long–standing relationship between the Dairy Council for Northern Ireland and Ulster University’s Northern Ireland Centre for Food and Health (NICHE).
