‘Omega–3 fatty acids: fact or fiction?’

This year’s Annual Dairy Council Nutrition Lecture at the Ulster University was given by Professor Philip C Calder, Professor of Immunology at the University of Southampton. 

Professor Calder spoke to an audience of more than 140 academics, nutrition students and health professionals on ‘Omega–3 fatty acids: fact or fiction?’

Professor Calder highlighted current research on the health benefits of omega–3 fatty acids particularly their potential clinical benefits for cardiovascular disease.
